ModVint was founded by Edward Smith and Stephanie Jones whilst they were both attending The University for the Creative Arts in Rochester.

The couple had a great mix of love for fashion and retro clothing as well as Edward's business way of thinking. 

Stephanie and Edward always wnted to create a fun and engaging shopping atmosphere for their customers, the stores which are now located in Rochester, Maidstone, Margate and Tunbridge Wells, are all quirky and attract in the local students aged between 18-25.

The small stores are all located in ares the couple felt were relevent for their customer, avoided large retail parks and sticking to small high streets and back roads.

The clothing sold in stores and online are not only one off vintage pieces that have been found by Stephanie but also a few picked from hot new designers that have been discovered along the journey.

 

The store unique decoration and clothing range have no been featured in a number of fashion magazines such as; Lucky, Glamour, In Style and Seventeen.
